Whats the difference between a partial vehicle wrap and full vehicle wrap?

Partial vehicle wrap- So you’re probably not sure what a partial vehicle wrap is or what its actual role on your vehicle is. A partial vehicle wrap is basically a special adhesive vinyl sticker that has to be installed and sealed onto the vehicle of your choice. All products used are of as high quality as possible for the customer. A partial vehicle wrap can cover up to 15% to 75% of your actual vehicle, whilst the amount of cover you require is up to the person for what they decide choose. They can be just a plain colour to cover up any indentations/marks, whilst the colour will be colour matched to your current vehicle to ensure it matches up correctly and professionally. They can also be designed to advertise/promote your business or simply a design to make your vehicle look great for when you’re out and about. For either partial wrap, your vehicles colour can be put into the actual design so it can blend in or simple stand out if you wish it to. It is really important that you choose its main purpose for what you require the partial wrap to do. As a partial wrap is only covering part of your vehicle, it is an affordable way to give your vehicle a transformation, whether it’s small or big. They also use less material so therefore takes less time to install so effectively a cheaper option for your vehicles transformation. Once your partial wrap has been designed to your requirements it can be installed, positioned and fitted professionally anywhere on your vehicle that you would like this. Any partial wrap can be installed onto any vehicle such as car, Vans, Trucks, Lorry’s, anything you wish as long as it has a smooth surface for the adhesive vinyl to stick to. All partial wraps will be completely sealed onto your vehicle. They can be changed at any time if you would like a different design but there is a cost for removal and re-installing a new one. Whilst if you no longer require your partial wrap it can be fully removed, whilst leaving your previous vehicle paint work in perfect condition. So therefore these partial wraps do not ruin your vehicles paint work at all, it will also protect the area that it has been covering.

Full vehicle wrap- So what is a full vehicle wrap? A full vehicle wrap is a special adhesive vinyl sticker that will 100% COMPLETELY cover your required vehicle. I mean completely by covering all previous paint work, from the roofs to bonnet, front to rear bumper even including wing mirrors. This in terms of transformation will totally transform your vehicle to anything you could wish for as it is being fully covered. It is the customer’s choice to what design they would require on their vehicle, this could serve many positive outcomes. The best full wraps are bright, bold which will make your vehicle stand out. You could use your full vehicle wrap to promote/advertise your business or give your vehicle simple colour transformation. The positive outcomes of a full vehicle wrap are – protecting the whole vehicle paint work from indentations, scratches, debris, bugs and road salt. Create yourself a moving advertising vehicle, this will be seen by so many people each and every day. The advertisement on your vehicle will attract customers for your business, the amount of people seeing this will make advertising this way a cheaper option for you. However a full vehicle wrap will cost more as more material is used plus installation time will be increased for a professional fit. Any vehicle wrap can be especially designed, printed and installed onto any vehicle you may wish. This can be from a small car right up to something really big, such as Lorry, Truck. It’s not just about covering single vehicles, we are able to completely cover a whole fleet of vehicles in the same design or if you require a different design on each vehicle, then this is possible for you as a customer. A wrap can last a very long time, ranging from 3 years to 10 years depending on the type of wrap chose. If you would like it changing, that is also possible but there will be a cost involved. These type of wraps are made for the long term basis. Whilst if you would like it completely removing then this is possible. Your vehicle paint work underneath will be as perfect before the vehicle was wrapped. If you have a full wrap and a panel on your vehicle gets damaged, no problem this single panel can be changed without the need of the whole vehicle re-wrapping, so this is cost effective for the customer.
Well now I have explained what a partial vehicle wrap and a full partial wrap. Both wraps are all fade resistant, protected from the suns UV rays. They are completely waterproof so washing your vehicle like you did before is not a problem. However the aftercare for both types of these wraps is similar. Instructions are given to make your vehicle wrap as long as possible. The aftercare is just as important to you, the more you look after your vehicle wrap the longer it will last, and like all of us everything needs a little tender care at times. Both of these vehicles are both cost effective as each other, one reason being they both serve different purposes. They can both be used in complete different ways, personal use or business use.

So if you’re thinking of having either of the vehicle wraps done, take into consideration the size you require, the purpose you would like it to serve, the total coverage you are expecting, and the type of design you would like and leave the rest down to the vehicle wrapping business to meet your expectations. Be wise to which vehicle wrapping business you choose, as this is your vehicle you are putting into their hands…. We all know you only want professional work completed on your vehicle.

How do I protect my vehicle paint work?

So you've got yourself a shiny new vehicle, a vehicle that’s yours for either personal or business use regardless of its age, but as days/weeks go by and you’re driving around you happen to notice some chips/indentations on your vehicle paint work. How did these marks get on here, how long have they been here for? The stones have hit your vehicle and made some marks, whether they are small or big indentations, it doesn't matter because they are now permanently on your vehicle as you drive around. Now you’re probably not very happy and thinking of ways to get rid of these indentations. We all try to keep our vehicles looking shiny, new and pristine. So is this preventable for the future?

Yes, There are many ways you can prevent this from happening, either don’t drive your vehicle around, protect your vehicle in bubble wrap or have you heard of stone chip protection? No one can actually stop the stones from targeting your vehicle, but how we can manage this to effectively reduce the risk of them ruining/damaging your vehicle paint work for the foreseeable future.

Stone chip protection is a clever way to protect your vehicle without needing a vehicle re paint or a cover that will disguise your vehicle colour/shape in anyway. This is a very affordable job that can be done, it’s a quick easy process, so no waiting around days/weeks for your newly sprayed vehicle. Stone chip protection is something so simple but not many people have actually heard of this or get it done. Stone chip protection can protect your vehicle paint work from many many things such scratches, chips, indentations, debris, bugs, road salt. Now I bet you didn't know it can perform multiple jobs that you can benefit from. You can gain all these positive outcomes from just one fully installed job at one very affordable cost. It will perfectly preserve your vehicle whilst this is on.

So what actually is stone chip protection?
Well you know the benefits of having this done but you’re not sure what it actually is. Something very simple that only professional installers can install onto your vehicle. A fully clear waterproof protective vinyl skin that will completely cover all of your vehicle. When I say completely cover, I mean bonnet, side wings, mirrors, fog, headlights, front and rear bumper, doors and roof. Everything that contains paint on your vehicle or that is protectable. Once your protective vinyl skin is on, it will work its magic as you drive around. With it being clear, your vehicle will still be as shiny as before if not even shinier, you can’t notice it’s on your vehicle and your vehicle paint work is still as vibrant as ever. So now you have the same vehicle with the same colour but now let those stones flick up onto your vehicle because you will have the satisfaction knowing that your vehicle is now protected completely. You can still wash your vehicle like you did before without the worry of the protective vinyl peeling because it won’t. This will be fully sealed onto your vehicle.
